Varun Tej's Korean Kanakaraju is gearing up for a grand release on 7th August. The actor along with his film director Merlapaka Gandhi and producers UV Creations attended Raasa Gummadi song launch event in Anantapur. At the event, he looked in high spirits as the audiences loved his dance moves in the song.

Varun Tej said, "I have taken inspiration from Chiranjeevi garu to dance like him on screen. I did try to my best and hope you all enjoy it. I am here to connect with you all and Korean Kanakaraju is a story of a guy from Anantapur. His journey and connection with Korea will be interesting, fun and engaging to watch."

Merlapaka Gandhi stated that the script will be a blend fun and entertaining elements throughout. He stated that Varun Tej has aced the Anantapur slang and his body language will be out of the world. He promised to audiences that Thaman's music and movie will entertain them and also thrill them.
