Lokesh Kanagaraj is considered one of the top directors in the South. Ever since 'Khaidi' and 'Vikram' came out, his craze grew rapidly. His last outing 'Leo' became a super hit due to its hype and star power despite having a lot of flaws. He is working with Rajnikanth soon and the first look poster took social media by a storm. The title will be revealed soon.

For 'Leo', Lokesh was heavily inspired from 'A History Of Violence' and sources say that he is getting inspired by another Hollywood flick for #Rajni171. It is 'The Purge' which came out in 2013. The story is about a special rule applied by the government where will be no action against criminals for 12 hours and police will not respond. What the hero does to protect his family forms the crux of the story.

Apparently, Lokesh is going to make a lot of changes to suit the Indian nativity. He even added a gold smuggling backdrop to the plot to make it more interesting. Anirudh will be giving the music and sources say that Lokesh is looking to complete the entire production in 4 months. There is a talk that Bollywood hero Ranveer Singh will play a crucial role in this movie. While SRK was the first choice, the 'Jawan' hero politely refused to do it as he wanted to do full-fledged roles. We need to see what Ranveer Singh brings to the table in a Rajnikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj film.
