Buzz: Maruthi Lined Up Mythri & Mega Hero

Ever since the film “The Raja Saab” was released, director Maruthi is at the receiving end of criticism. After the Superstar Prabhas starrer has hit the OTT platform JioHotstar, the postmortem of the film has further heightened, with many targeting the director for carving out an uninteresting film with Prabhas. However, the director is quietly moving to his next film, it looks like.

Although director Maruthi denied earlier that he’s teaming up with a mega hero, new rumours are circulating that Maruthi has indeed found a mega hero. In fact, Mythri Movie Makers was supposed to do a film with Varun Tej, but that never materialised. Now that they have dates of Varun Tej and also a commitment from director Maruthi, the production house is said to have united both of them for a film.

As per reports doing the rounds, recently Maruthi went to Kerala for a break and finished the script of this comedy thriller, which will be in its usual elements. The director is hoping that his next film will answer the critics of The Raja Saab and will put him back in the spotlight.
