Mrunal Thakur Spills the Beans on Co-Star Crush

Mrunal Thakur, whose recent movie with Vijay Deverakonda, "Family Star", did not perform well at the box office, has revealed a surprising crush on a different co-star. In a recent interview, she confessed her admiration for Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor.

Thakur said that she was a huge Shahid Kapoor fan even before she signed the movie "Jersey" with him. She was so excited to work with him that she signed the project immediately after receiving the offer. While filming, she couldn't help but be captivated by his smile, even mentioning that she would find herself gazing at him whenever he smiled on set.

Things got interesting when Thakur had to film a scene where her character had to slap Shahid Kapoor. Given her immense respect for him, she felt incredibly awkward about having to hit him. She pleaded with the director to allow her to film the scene slowly, but he insisted on a more forceful slap. Even Shahid Kapoor encouraged her to hit him with more power, jokingly suggesting she think of an ex-boyfriend. It took three hours to film the scene because of Thakur's hesitation, leaving her feeling quite embarrassed.

It's important to note that Shahid Kapoor is married to Mira Rajput and they have two children together. While Thakur's admiration for him is clear, it seems to be strictly professional and lighthearted.
