After the recent debacle of *Agent*, Akkineni Akhil's film career hit a rough patch, leaving his next move uncertain. Despite various speculations, no official word has been given about his upcoming projects. Even discussions about potential stories have been kept under wraps, with little activity on social media. Initially, a project under UV Creations with a new director was considered, but no clear decision was made.

However, it now appears that Akhil has given the green signal to young director Murali Kishore, who previously directed *Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha* with Kiran Abbavaram. This project could potentially give Akhil the revival he needs.

The key decision regarding the film’s direction was reportedly made by Akhil’s father, Nagarjuna. The movie will be set in the historic backdrop of Tirupati, unfolding as a period drama. To ensure that no compromises are made on production quality, Nagarjuna has personally stepped in to oversee the project’s budget and execution. The film is expected to be produced under their home banner, Annapurna Studios, with official confirmation expected soon.

While big directors could easily be lined up for Akhil, Nagarjuna seems keen on giving younger talent an opportunity. This time, Akhil must put in extra effort to revive his career, and all eyes are now on how director Murali Kishore will handle the project, which could be a turning point for both.
