The Separation Left Chaitanya Depressed: Nagarjuna

It is well-known that hero Naga Chaitanya and heroine Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged recently at Nagarjuna's residence. It was the 'King' actor himself who revealed the official news regarding his elder son's engagement. He expressed his happiness and fans are delighted to know this news. Nagarjuna recently talked to Times Now and revealed what happened in Chaitanya's life after divorce, about Sobhita and many more.

He said, “Chay has found happiness again. He is very happy. So am I. It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation from Samantha) left him very depressed. My boy doesn't show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy.”

He added, “To see him smile again... Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly.” Regarding the wedding date, he said, “Not immediately, Subhash. Like I told you, we chose to have a hurried engagement because it was an auspicious day, and since Chay and Sobhita are very sure that they want to marry, we said, Let's do it. We chose this day because it is very auspicious. Both families consulted the Nakshatras, and when we were told August 8 was a very auspicious day, we decided to go ahead with it.”

Talking about Sobhita, he stated, “Very much so. In fact, you will be surprised to know that I know her from long before Chay. Yes! Chay got to know Sobhita two years ago. But I have known her for six years. I saw her in Adivi Sesh's film Goodachari and liked her work. I told her that. From then on, we have had many discussions on cinema, life, and philosophy. Sobhita is a very well-informed girl.”

He revealed a few details about the engagement too. He said, “Only the immediate family was there. Sobhita's parents and sister. Chay's mother was there, of course. My wife, Amala, was there. That's it.” As we know, Chaitanya and Samantha fell in love long back and got married in 2017. Unfortunately, they got divorced in 2021 leaving a lot of people heartbroken.
