In a recent interview, Anil Ravipudi revealed something he's never shared before. He and Sreeleela aren't just a director and actress; they're also family. It turns out that Anil and Sreeleela's mother, Dr. Swarna, come from the same village called Ponguluru near Ongole. Even though Sreeleela grew up in Bangalore and the USA, she is said to visit her grandma's house in that village every year. While working on Bhagavanth Kesari, Anil and Sreeleela realized they share the same hometown and are also relatives.

Anil revealed that, on the movie set, Sreeleela used to call him director gaaru in front of everyone, but she calls him "maama" when they're in a close circle. That's because Sreeleela's mom is a cousin of Anil Ravipudi.
