Now the actress faced a big shock as a defamation case was filed against her. Faking her death cost her big time as a person filed a defamation suit. A person named Faizan Ansari took a strong objection to what she did and filed a Police case.

The case was filed with the Kanpur Police by Faizan Ansari. The person said that what Poonam Pandey and her husband did was not acceptable and is a big issue. He said that Cancer is a serious condition and faked her death to trivialize the condition.

The complainant said that the actress made a big joke about a serious condition like Cancer for publicity and hence action should be taken against her. He also requested the cops to issue an arrest warrant against the couple and produce them before the court.
