Kalki 2898 AD Day 5: Highest 1st Monday!

There are no signs of slowing down for Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD which is scripting history with its spectacular collections.

The movie which had done exceptional business in its first extended weekend has passed the Monday test by distinction.

With 70cr gross on Monday, the movie surpassed the 625+Cr mark. It is the highest-grosser on the first Monday among all Indian movies.

The movie co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan is putting on a great show in Telugu states, the Hindi circuit, overseas, and other southern states.

The word of mouth is extremely encouraging and the movie will have a sustained long run. In Hindi, Kalki earned 20 Cr gross on Monday, and the total stands at 135 Cr.

The movie has raked $12 M in North America. It is the fastest Indian movie to surpass 100 Cr gross in the region.

Trade predicts this Nag Ashwin directorial venture will easily touch the Rs 1000 Cr mark in its full run, with no noted arrival in theatres this week.
