SS Rajamouli is one of the best directors in Indian cinema and he is the biggest filmmaker in the country at the moment. He is the one who opened the doors of pan-Indian market for regional films and is now exploring the international market. He is constantly bettering himself and is delivering one game-changing film after another.

The recently released documentary about him on Netflix captured his life journey and his passion towards cinema. As we know, Rajamouli grew up in a family full of people from the film industry. His big brother MM Keeravani is a music composer, his father is a storywriter and his uncle Shivashakti Dutta is a lyricist and a writer. They even produced a film or two which made them completely broke.

In this documentary, his father Vijayendra Prasad revealed that Rajamouli was made to play Sri Krishna in a film called 'Pillana Grovi' which was produced by them. It stopped midway which is why not many saw the great director as lord Krishna. All the actors who worked under his direction say that he is a great artist as he shows them each and every expression that is required for the scene.

Rajamouli never did a full-fledged role but made special appearances in his own movies like 'Sye', 'Baahubali', 'RRR' and Nani's 'Majnu'. He was also seen in a small scene in the recent blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
