Veteran actor Sathyaraj, widely recognized for his iconic role as Kattappa in "Baahubali," has addressed rumors surrounding his potential involvement in the upcoming SSMB29 project starring Mahesh Babu and directed by S.S. Rajamouli.

Sathyaraj's recent filmography hasn't yielded major box office success, with films like "Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food" and "Singapore Saloon" falling short. He also recently refuted speculation that he would portray Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a biopic.

However, a new rumor has surfaced, exciting fans with the possibility of Sathyaraj reuniting with director S.S. Rajamouli. In a recent media interaction, Sathyaraj spoke candidly about his past collaboration and potential future involvement with the acclaimed filmmaker.

"I am eternally grateful to Rajamouli," Sathyaraj stated. "In South India, everyone knows me as Sathyaraj. But after Baahubali, the entire world recognized me. Now, with the animated series, even children identify me as Kattappa. In the movie, they portrayed me with a muscular physique, and the animation series has only amplified that. All the kids think I'm that strong in real life!"

Addressing the SSMB29 rumors, Sathyaraj clarified, "I haven't been approached for a role in the upcoming project with Mahesh Babu. But if Rajamouli offers me a role, I would accept it immediately."
