Tamil star hero Ajith's wife Shalini who is well-known to everyone as the heroine of Mani Ratnam's 'Sakhi' underwent surgery in Chennai recently. After the entire medical procedure is done, she took a picture with her husband Ajith Kumar and posted it on Instagram. She captioned it 'Love You Forever' along with a few heart emojis.

They are quite simple and doesn't show off in public which is something that people admire about them. The details regarding her health issue are yet to come out but having your husband standing by your side and offering moral support is great to watch.
Shalini entered the film industry as a child artist during the 80s. She acted in a few films as the heroine before marrying Ajith in 2000. They both acted together in 'Amarkalam' back in 1999 and it was when they fell in love with each other. It was Ajith who proposed and Shalini took care of the family after their marriage.
Ajith is currently working on 'Vidaa Muyarchi' directed by Magizh Thirumani. Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra and others are a part of this film. Anirudh is the music composer. He is also going to work under the Mythri Movie Makers banner soon. His last film 'Thunivu' did not fare well at the box office.
