Video: Shivaji Tenders Apology For Using Cheap Language

In the wake of various celebrities, especially the female fraternity working in the Telugu Film Industry, demanding an unconditional apology from actor Shivaji for his words, the actor has finally released a video byte, tendering an apology. However, the actor stated that his intention is right, though the choice of words is bad.

“As heroines are facing some troubles recently, I wanted to tell some good words, but unfortunately, some inappropriate words rolled into that. I’ve not spoken about all the women, but only spoke about heroines who are getting troubled in public due to their dressing. But as women got offended by those words, I’m tendering an apology henceforth,” said Shivaji, in the video he released. At the same time, he hailed women and emphasized that his respect for them is immense.

“Stree is Mahasakthi, and I respect them, but I’ve used some cheap language, which is a mistake. My intention is good, but my language is bad, so for hurting the sentiments of women, I’m apologising” he concluded, delivering the apology that’s asked of him.

We have to see how women who got offended will react to this apology, as Shivaji stated that his intention is good, but langauge is bad. In fact, they are condemning the very fact that Shivaji is telling them what to dress up as, which itself is considered an insult to the modesty of a woman.
