Ganguly biopic: Talented Bollywood actor is locked

It is already known that Bollywood industry largely nurtures and supports the culture of biopics. The Hindi film industry had historically produced several promising biopics, and they are doing something of this sort again with the proposed biopic of Indian cricketing legend, Sourav Ganguly.

Fondly referred to as the prince of Indian cricket, Sourav Ganguly had a remarkable Cricketing journey. He went from being a young player in the side to the captain of the team that was a formidable force in the 90s era.

In accordance with this, the latest updates are suggesting that talented Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao has been finalised for the lead role in the film. Apparently, he will be the one who will be playing Sourav Ganguly in this biopic, which is going to be directed by VikramAditya Motwane.

According to reports, this biopic will go deep into the roots of Sourav Ganguly and beyond his cricketing lines, and also touch on several personal topics that concerned Dada during his elongated, professional and personal career.
