First production and VFX creation is generally regarded as one of the most frustrating things for any film maker and Rajamouli is not different with the same. Many people say that Rajamouli usually gets frustrated with the delay in the production as the VFX output is not on his expected standards.

Now, SS Rajamouli has partnered in setting up a dedicated VFX studio, further strengthening his grip over the technical aspects of his filmmaking.

The studio is equipped with international level technology and is already playing a central role in the production of his upcoming film Varanasi.

A significant portion of the visual effects work for Varanasi is being handled in house at this studio, with an additional four to five international VFX companies also contributing to the project.

Rajamouli has always been known for his meticulous attention to visual effects, never compromising on the quality of what appears on screen. Having his own studio in the mix gives him direct creative oversight over the VFX pipeline, allowing him to maintain the exacting standards his films are known for worldwide.

Industry insiders point out that with a state of the art facility under his own partnership, the scale and quality of visuals in Varanasi is expected to reach an entirely new benchmark. The combination of a proprietary studio and multiple global collaborators signals that the film is being built with extraordinary ambition from a technical standpoint.

Rajamouli’s track record with RRR and the Baahubali franchise already set the bar high for Indian cinema. Varanasi, backed by this kind of VFX infrastructure, is generating massive expectations across the industry.
