Lokesh Becomes The Only Director To Achieve This Feat After Shankar!

Lokesh Kanagaraj who turned into a star director in Kollywood just with a few films has earned a huge fanbase. Movies like 'Khaidi', 'Master' and 'Vikram' showcase his potential and he created a separate universe named 'Lokesh Cinematic Universe' where his own film characters team up when needed. He is working on 'Leo' with Thalapathy Vijay now and it is also a part of LCU.

While 'Leo' is expected to hit the screens in October, he officially announced that his next project is going to be with superstar Rajnikanth. Sun Pictures banner has released the announcement poster and it is Rajni's 171st film. As expected, Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander will be giving the music while Anbariv will be designing the fights. The news made everyone happy and people are excited to see Rajni in a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie.

Interestingly, there are many directors who directed both the legends Kamal and Rajni over the years. Legends like Mani Ratnam, Balachander and commercial specialist KS Ravi Kumar directed them in the past. Shankar was the last director to work with both of them. As we know, he made 'Indian' and is making 'Indian 2' with Kamal while he directed Rajni three times which include 'Shivaji', 'Robo' and '2.0'. Lokesh becomes the only young director in this generation to direct both the legends. While he delivered a blockbuster with Kamal in the form of 'Vikram', we need to see what he makes with Thalaivar.
