7 Years For Prabhas: What About NTR, Charan?

Telugu Cinema opened the market of thousand crore lifetime gross in Indian cinema with Baahubali 2. There are several films that are looking to join this category, but with very little end result.

The point to be noted here that Prabhas himself took seven years after the compilation of epic Baahubali to reach the 1000 crore mark again. He was finally able to achieve it with Kalki, which turned out to be a historic blockbuster.

And now we have the case of other superstar in the form of NTR and Ram Charan, who are aspiring to get back to this thousand crore bracket now.

Both these superstars reached the thousand crore mark with epic RRR, which coincidentally happened to be a Rajamouli film again. So the discussion has happening on whether they would be able to achieve this again in the future with any of their upcoming film.

The crucial point of difference here is that reaching 1000 crore market in the Indian Cinema scene currently is a tough challenge. Exceptional production values, and a strong story are needed to bring the audience to theatres and big numbers to generate as much revenue.

So it has to be seen if either Charan or NTR would be able to get back to this huge 1000 crore market in the near future. It is not going to be a straightforward process for either of them, considering the lack of directorial options in front of them.

But NTR has an outside chance of reaching this with his ongoing film with Prashanth Neel, who had delivered 1000 crore film in the form of KGF 2. But even this does not guarantee a sensational blockbuster, so we have to wait and see how things will turn out.
