Sizzling Item Songs Set To Rock These 3 Top Hero Films!
From Prabhas to Balakrishna, each one has a high-voltage track in the pipeline.;
Big stars, big sets, and even bigger beats, item songs are once again taking center stage in Telugu cinema from Kissik to Kurchi Madathapetti to Dhabidi Dibidi to Swathi Reddy, to Adhi Dha Surprisu to many more. Four big hero films are gearing up with special dance numbers, and the hype is picking up fast. These aren’t just glitzy add-ons; they’re being crafted to grab attention and stir up talk even before the film's release. From Prabhas to Balakrishna, each one has a high-voltage track in the pipeline.
In The Rajasaab, Prabhas is getting ready for a special song that was originally meant to be a remix of a retro Bollywood track. But composer Thaman decided to scrap that idea and create a fresh tune instead. With Nayanthara reportedly out due to scheduling issues, a new Bollywood heroine is likely to join Prabhas for the number. The shoot is expected to wrap up by August, with the film set to hit screens on December 5.
Meanwhile, NTR’s Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel, is planning its own high-energy track, something that wasn’t seen in Neel’s recent work like KGF 2 or Salaar. This time, the director seems to be making space for NTR’s signature dance style. Rumors suggest Rashmika Mandanna or Ketika Sharma might be roped in for the number, but the makers haven’t confirmed anything yet.
And Nandamuri Balakrishna’s sequel, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, won’t be left behind either. With “Jai Balayya” still fresh in fans’ memories, the sequel is expected to carry forward that same energy. Whether they bring back Pragya Jaiswal or introduce a new face remains to be seen, but the special song is locked for shoot next month. One thing’s clear these item songs are more than just filler; they’re full-on events.
