After the film “Game Changer” flopped at the box office, many wondered whether Ram Charan is not capitalising on the success of “RRR” and his global fame. However, with “Peddi” he has proven that one film is enough to overturn the disappointments. His performance was hailed, and the ₹400 crore box office returns have started the ‘season of comebacks’ officially.

Following Peddi’s success, Samantha scored with Maa Inti Bangaram, while the last 3-4 years have seen only flops. Then comes Lenin, Akhil’s rejuvenation in his career, and scoring his first blockbuster after 10 years. Then comes Korean Kanakaraju, giving a breather to Varun Tej from a string of flops, and then Irumudi, which ended Raviteja’s drought. That’s a terrific comeback for sure at the Telugu box office for all these stars. So that brings us to the question: who is next?

In the coming days, in fact, most of the films that are coming are actually from seasoned stars who are already on a hit streak. Except for the likes of Allari Naresh or Tarun Bhaskar, most other stars are already delivering hits at the box office. So Irumudi might end the ‘season of comebacks’ officially, though it might keep on repeating itself.
