Big heroes reeling with injuries is the phenomenon that’s worrying Tollywood at the moment, as many of the star heroes are in rest mode.

In recent times, we have seen Nandamuri Balakrishna fracturing his ankle in a fight sequence. At the age of 66, why he is doing those risky stunts is something to be noticed. Similarly, Pawan Kalyan underwent shoulder surgery of the shoulder in Mumbai recently, while Ram Charan got his eye and hand treated after getting injured during a Peddi wrestling sequence. Prabhas underwent many knee surgeries abroad. Jr NTR was hurt during Dragon’s action sequence shooting. What’s this all saying?

In fact, when star heroes use body doubles and wrap the fight sequences, the opposite fans, in the name of movie lovers, keep accusing that heroes are not risking and getting stunts done by dupes. Just in case these heroes get injured and something unwanted happens to them, what about the crores of rupees that got invested in them? No one thinks about that aspect.

At the same time, a film hero should carry not just fights, but scenes, emotions, songs and much more. So if they rope in dupes for risky stunts, that’s commendable, rather than risking themselves and getting injured.

Most fans who do lots of hungama on social media don’t even worry about how risky and injury-prone these star heroes are. Using a dupe means the stunt is being performed by someone who is well-versed in the fighting choreography. There’s no wrong in that. And if heroes want to impress fans with their original acts, surely they get injured this way.
