Sarathkumar, Varalakshmi's father, has now addressed the rumors surrounding the wedding expenses. In a statement, he categorically denied the reports, stating, "I don't know where that money is. Such news is completely false. They are spreading false information without knowing anything. Why spend so much for a wedding..? I conducted my daughter's wedding very normally. Don't make false assumptions and spread false news." The veteran actor made it clear that the wedding was held in a simple manner and that the rumors about the extravagant cost are baseless.
