Buzz: Hero Put Three Producers On Hold For Sister

Today, mega hero Varun Tej’s next film, directed by Committee Kurrollu fame filmmaker Yadhu Vamsi, was launched officially. Produced by his sister Niharika Konidela, this film will be aiming for a Sankranthi release as per the official statement. However, before that, industry insiders are wondering why the mega hero put almost three producers on hold and is doing this movie in his sister’s production venture.

Apparently, Varun Tej was supposed to do a film with Mythri Movie Makers, which was kept on hold, as he decided to take up his sister Niharika Konidela’s production venture “Bhari”. In fact, Mythri has zeroed in on a couple of directors, and discussions have been going on for months already regarding that film. Just before taking a final call on the story he would pick up, they say that Varun Tej took a call about the producer first. Similarly, two other producers are also kept on hold. However, those production houses are also super happy as we could see Mythri Naveen attending the event of the Bhari movie launch and happily taking part in the pooja ceremony.

Some say that Varun Tej is waiting for the right script, though producers are in the queue to make movies with him; his recent history isn’t so exciting, as none of his movies worked out. Rather than taking the script he has liked to the producer, the mega hero is picking up the producer who brought the right script to him. As Niharika Konidela got the story of Bhari, a village-based volleyball drama, he got excited and did it first.
