Varun Flying Abroad For Two Crazy Projects After 'Matka'!

No matter the result, Mega Prince Varun Tej always experiments when it comes to scripts. After failures like 'Ghani', 'Gandheevadhari Arjuna' and 'Operation Valentine', Varun Tej is working on a period drama named 'Matka'. Set in the 70s, this film is written and being directed by Karuna Kumar. Apart from this flick, Varun gave a green signal to two other projects.

The first in the list is a film under Merlapaka Gandhi's direction. Renowned director Krish's 'First Frame Entertainments' will be bankrolling it. He will be flying to Korea to shoot a major portion of this film. The schedule is expected to commence in the last week of September and most of the movie shooting is expected to be wrapped up in a single schedule.

Another film that he accepted is a love story under Vikram Sirikonda's direction. Mythri Movie Makers will produce and sources say that it is an interesting romantic film where an AI develops feelings on the hero. The shooting will commence in the USA and it is expected to start after Varun's Korea schedule is done for Gandhi's film. People are already comparing it with 'Teri Baaton Mein Aise Uljah Jiya' but we need to wait till the shooting starts before drawing any conclusions.

Looks like Varun Tej is going to have three releases in 2025.
