After a massive success through 'KGF' franchise, Kannada hero Yash received nationwide fame. He became very popular and many directors showed interest in working with him. But, he took a long time before accepting his next project. He finally announced 'Toxic: A Tale For Grown Ups' and shooting is underway.

Kiara Advani is reportedly the heroine while Nayanthara will be seen as Yash's sister. While many would be apprehensive to play such a role, the lady superstar gave her nod instantly. Kareena was approached initially but he backed out in the last minute. Apparently, the dynamic between the brother and sister is going to be a major highlight.

The shooting is taking place in India but they will soon fly to London to shoot a major part of the film. Sources claim that 'Toxic' is going to heavily inspired by the popular British Drama series 'Peaky Blinders'. This intense drama had Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy playing the lead role of Thomas Shelby and it is one of the most iconic characters in television history.

'Toxic' is going to revolve around a drug mafia group in Goa. It is expected to hit the screens on April 10th, 2025. Geetu Mohandas is the director while Venkat K Narayana is the producer.
