The novel coronavirus originated from the Wuhan province of China is spreading its deadly wings in Andhra Pardesh as 60 fresh cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
With the new cases, the total cases stood at 1463 and inching towards the 1500-mark. Kurnool continues to be the worst-hit district in the state with the dreaded virus.
The cases of COVID-19 surpassed 400 in Kurnool followed by Guntur and Krishna districts with 306 and 246 cases respectively. The health bulletin released by the state Health Department confirmed the same.
With the recently recovered 82 patients, the toll count of the recovered patients in the state stood at 403 which is a good sign. In the past 24 hours, 2 people succumbed to the virus taking the count to 33.
