60 Percent Of Products Manufactured By Nestle Are Not Healthy: Uk-based Daily!
Concerns over the safety of the products manufactured by the Switzerland-based Nestle company were raised for one more time after a United Kingdom-based daily said that the company reportedly admitted that over 70 percent of its products are harmful.
The UK-based daily Financial Times claimed that only 37 percent of the company's products have a 3.5 rating or a higher rating, which is a parameter to measure the safety of the products.
"In a presentation that was circulated, 70 percent of products in food and drinks and 90 percent of beverages, baring Coffee have failed to meet the health standards,â the daily said in its report.
Looking at the other products, Water and dairy products have managed to meet the required standard. Water and dairy products have earned 82% and 60% trust respectively.
However, it is said that only selected products were taken into account over the safety offered by these products. The data pertaining to products like baby formula, pet food, coffee, and health science were not taken into consideration.
In its report, the daily quoted the swiss company as saying that, several improvements have been made for our products. But the products underperform, due to the increasing consumer demands and pressure of the regulatory body.
Earlier, Nestle's product Maggi was banned for a brief period with concerns over safety offered by the product. Nestle company acquired Maggi in 1947.
