The positive cases of novel coronavirus are increasing rapidly in Andhra Pradesh as 80 fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported in the state today. With the new cases, the toll of the positive cases reaches 1,177.
The state Health Department has released a health bulletin to confirm the same. This marks the highest single-day cases in the state so far.
Out of the fresh cases, Krishna district reported 33 cases followed by Guntur and Kurnool with 23 and 13 cases respectively. Nellore district reported cases while West Godavari and Srikakulam reported three and one positive cases respectively.
Krishna district tops the list of the districts with the most number of cases followed by Guntur, Kurnool, and Nellore. The authorities have declared many areas as the rez zones in these districts so far.
