You have heard of crazy fans building temples for film stars in South India. First it was for Khushbu. Then other temples were constructed for other film stars. But, have you ever heard of a temple being constructed for a politician? A BJP activist has now constructed a temple for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The temple is constructed in Anud near Pune of Maharashtra. He has constructed the temple and installed Modi’s idol in it. He is offering pooja every day. The Modi Bhakt is identified as Mayur Munde. Sources say he has spent Rs 1.5 lakh to construct the temple. He brought red stone from Jaipur to construct the temple wards. A special glass has been brought to protect the Modi idol. A marble plaque containing a poem on Modi has been installed at the temple. A large number of BJP supporters and Modi lovers are visiting the temple every day.

It may be recalled that a temple for Modi was constructed in the past too. However, Modi discouraged poojas at the spot and asked the bhakts to take down the temple. He said he did not want any temple to be build for him. He said he was a sevak (servant) of the people and not a God. As of now, it seems Modi is still not aware of the temple. Let’s wait and see what he would do once he comes to know about this temple.
