Given the prevailing situations, the Andhra Pradesh government decided to cancel the SSC Examinations keeping the health of the students in mind as conducting exams in these tough situations keeps their health at risk.
AP Education Minister, Dr. Audimulapu Suresh who called for a press conference in this regard confirmed the news. Earlier, the SSC Examinations were postponed two times and the government decided to conduct the exams in July.
The Minister went on to say that, the government took all the measures to conduct the exams as per the schedule, be it conducting online classes and reducing the number of papers. Sadly the existing situations and not helping them to go ahead with the exams.
With the rapid growth of the positive cases, the government has decided to do away with the exams and they will be passed without having to appear for the examinations. The government has also canceled the Advanced Supplementary exams for Intermediate.
There is no information on what basis they will be promoted and the government might soon clarify the doubts on this. Andhra Pradesh is not the first state to cancel the SSC Exams. Tamil Nadu and Telangana states have canceled the exams.
