Update: 2020-09-15 07:01 GMT
As the latest development in the Amaravati row, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)has registered a case against the Amravati lands. ACB will probe into the alleged insider trading of the lands in Amaravti.

A regional News Channel carried out a story claiming that the ACB registered a case based on a report submitted by the Special Investigation Teams(SIT) in this regard.

It has been widely reported SIT included the names of the big leaders in the opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) including cabinet members in the report.

Some media reports claimed that, in insider trading, around 900 acres of lands were purchased from Dalits that were assigned to Dalits.

If we have to take anything from the media reports, a case in connection with the land scam was registered against 12 people including former Advocate General Dammalapati Srinivas who rendered services as AG during the regime of TDP

After the Amravati region was named as the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, many rumors of insider trading and alleged land scam surfaced. Many organizations too accused TDP over the alleged land scam.

We may get more information once the ACB issues an official statement and the investigation report over the alleged insider trading is out.
