Natural Star Nani who has been vocal on the movie tickets issue in Andhra Pradesh had once again spoken about the issue. However, unlike the previous incident, Naniâs recent comments had caused a big storm in the industry and the Andhra Pradesh Ministers are on a spree of countering the actor's comments.
After Perni Nani and Kodali Nani, it's the turn of firebrand leader, Actress-turned-politician Roja to slam Nani on his comments on the ticket rates issue. Not happy with his comments, Roja slammed the actor.
Countering his comments, Roja opined that everyone is concerned only about the big films and expressed her concerns over the small films. Calling the comments made by Nani objectionable, Roja said that these comments are nothing but intimidating the government. She opined that these comments might cause damage to the film industry.
Not happy with Nani's comments, Roja said that if Nani feels that the situation is better in Kirana shops than the theatres, and advised him to set up Kirana shops. The controversy takes place with members of the industry making such comments. If they hold talks with the government then the issue gets solved, she said.
Taking an indirect at the opponents, Roja said that the new controversies are a result of a few people making films for their political agenda and cited the MAA elections as an example for this. The Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections were held like general elections with the comments made by these people, she said.
Nani was in the news with his comments on the tickets issue. His comments highlighting how the tickets issue was impacting the industry did not sit well with the Ministers. Even since he made the comments, one after the other Ministers are stepping in, to give a strong counter to Natural Star Nani.
Before the release of his film, Nani addressed the media and dubbed the situation at the Kirana stores as better compared to the film theatres as the Kirana stores are seeing good business than the theatres due to the tickets issue. Not stopping there Nani said reducing the tickets price is an insult for the audience.
