Ahead of Panchayat Polls, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar cancels his Rayalaseema Tour!

Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for the first phase of Local Body Polls which will be held on Tuesday. As per the schedule, the polls will be held from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Ahead of the much-awaited Panchayat Polls 2021, State Election Commissioner(SEC) Nimagadda Ramesh Kumar was scheduled to visit a few districts in Rayalaseema.

However, he had to cancel his schedule, after he reportedly developed an eye affection. He will visit the LV Prasad Eye Institute today for medical treatment, media reports claimed.

It has been widely reported that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar will take a decision on his official tour based on what the doctors will advise him and examining his condition.

The Panchayat Elections 2021 in Andhra Pradesh will be held in four phases. While the polls for the first phase will be held tomorrow, the remaining three phases will be held this month only.
