Ayurveda practitioner Anandaiah who earlier claimed to cure the Omicron variant had reportedly started distributing the miracle medicine. However, he faced a sudden shock with the villagers who earlier supported him turning against himself and staging a protest saying that they will not let him distribute the medicine to cure the new variant.
Giving a sudden shock to Anandiah, the villagers in Krishnapatnam created a ruckus saying that they will not allow the medicine distribution and staged a protest. The situation had reached a point where the cops reached the spot and tried to pacify the angry villagers.
As per the media reports, the Krishnapatnam villagers are not happy with the fact that Anandaiah is distributing a medicine which had not received any approval from the concerned department and experts. How can he supply medicine without proper authentication? Who will take the responsibility for this? asked the villagers.
It is also said that the villagers are fearing that the Coronavirus might get transmitted here with people from other places gathering in Krishnapatnam in big numbers as they are waiting for the medicine. This led to a war of words between Anandaiah and the villagers.
Rubbishing the claims that he has no permissions to distribute the medicine he had prepared, Anandaiah said that he has the permission and as per the permissions, he is distributing the medicines. He even asked the villagers what their issue was when he was distributing medicine at his house.
When the situation seemed out of control, the cops reached the spot at the right time and pacified both parties. In the wake of the Covid fear, the cops asked Anandiaah to distribute medicine in the outskirts of the village so that no one will have any issue with that. He reportedly agreed to what the police said.
However, recently the Ayush said that no one had approached them seeking approval for the permission of the medicine. The department even released a press note to announce the same. Having said that, the concerned officials at Ayush said that people should stay cautious keeping the new variant Omicron in mind.
