Andhra Pradesh reports over 20,000 new Covid-19 cases for one more time
In what it could be a shocker, Andhra Pradesh has once again reported more than 20,000 new Covid cases on April 11. In the last 24 hours, as many as 20,345 new Covid-19 cases were reported.
On Monday Telangana witnessed nearly 15,000 new Covid-19 cases. The happiness of seeing fewer cases did not last long with the state witnessing more than 20,000 fresh pandemic infections yet again.
Chittoor reported the highest number of cases in the past 24 hours with 2,426, new cases, followed by shore city Visakhapatnam(2,371),Guntur(1,919), Srikakulam(1,457), East Godavari(1,527) and Prakasham(1,130).
With the state reporting 20,345 new cases, the total number of infections has mounted to 13,22,934. After 14,502 patients have beaten the virus in the past 24 hours, a total of 11,18,933 patients have been declared cured and discharged from the hospitals so far.
The active cases of the deadly respiratory disease now stood at 1,95,102 in the state. Including 108 new casualties, the total fatalities rose to 8,899.
