In a piece of good news, Andhra Pradesh reported a massive drop in fresh Coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours. Less than 4,000 new infections were reported.
In the past 24 hours, as many as 74,337 samples were tested in the state and 3,967 fresh infections were detected, pushing the total cases to 7,75,470. So far, a total of 69,20, 377 samples have been tested.
The fatalities related to Covid-19 which have been decreasing gradually fell further. With 38 fresh fatalities, total casualties in the state zoomed to 6,382.
On the other hand, fresh Covid-19 recoveries too decreased with as many as 5,010 patients beating the respiratory disease. 7,30,109 Patients have been declared cured so far, while the active cases stood at 38,979.
More than 90 percent of Covid-19 patients have beaten the virus in the state. Despite being the second worst-affected state, Andhra Pradesh managed to bring down the fresh cases.
