Compared to the other parties, the AP BJP is focusing on gathering the Kapu community voters. The actions taken by the party made the political analysts think that the BJP is after the Kapu votes.

To cater to the Kapu voters, Kapu leaders were given the chief posts and the leaders are talking about the Kapu reservation.
