Why AP Employees asked CM Naidu to WAIT?

Update: 2015-10-04 05:52 GMT
Its more or less official that the plans of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to shift the Secretariat Employees from Hyderabad to Vijayawada willn't materialize any time soon.

AP Secretariat Employees Association informed to State Government that Government Staff willn't be shifting to Guntur-Vijayawada region until the completion of the current academic year (June 2016). During the meeting with Chandrababu Naidu at the Camp Office, The Association explained to CM that children of the employees will get affected if they were forced to shift to the other region in the middle of the academic year. They sought permission till April-May 2016 to move out of the Joint Capital.

The Association also demanded proper infrastructure to run the offices and accommodation for the staff before the mass shifting process could be initiated. They also expressed their displeasure over shifting to temporary accommodation in Vijayawada even though Hyderabad remains as joint capital for 10 years. Even though CM stressed the need for early shifting of employees to streamline administration and complete capital construction on time, Government Staff were firm on relocating only in June next year.
