Are YSRCP's Vizag district MPs mere dummies?

Update: 2022-03-01 03:10 GMT
Vizag district has produced redoubtable MPs who created a lasting impression both in their constituencies as well as at the national level. Many politicians like Dronamraju Satyanarayana, Purandeswari and Subbarami Reddy were well-known across the country. But the current crop of YSRCP MPs from Vizag district are not just able to make their mark. What more? No one is taking them seriously.

The biggest problem for these MPs is that no one knows them. They keep such low profile that they are not seen as popular leaders. They do not maintain relations and do not tour the constituencies. The are largely keeping to themselves.  Even within their own party, on one seems to be taking them seriously.

Vizag MP MVV Satyanarayana, Araku MP Madhavi and Anakapalle MP Bheesetti Satyavathi are being seen as silent backbenchers in Parliament. Even in their constituencies and party forums, they are seen as silent spectators and political greenhorns. Both Satyanarayana and Madhavi are first-timers and novices. Though Satyavathi is a long-time politician, she too is a first-time MP.

They have not taken initiative on Vizag Railway Zone issue, ESI hospital construction or even on the VSP issue. MP Satayanarayana has problems with a prominent party leader from North Andhra and he is largely confined to his businesses. MP Satyavathi is said to have  problems with MLA Gudivada Amarnath.  Similarly, MP Godeti Madhavi, who had won by an unassailable majority, too is silent on even tribal issues.
