Demonetisation increases GDP to 10 Percent

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal declares Demonetisation leads to surge in economic activity which eventually increase GDP Growth to 10 percent. 'Few Economics predict decline in economic activity in the next two quarters due to currency ban. However, I believe there will be two percent GDP Growth,' he said.

Mr. Arjun Ram explains several kinds of financial transactions weren't taxed so far. He feels Demonetisation is going to change that completely and boost the GDP.

In response to former PM Manmohan Singh terming demonetisation as monumental mismanagement and organized loot, The Union Minister shot back, 'Why didn't Manmohan address mismanagement when he served as Chief Economic Advisor, RBI Governor and Planning Commission Chairman'.

When asked about the inconvenience caused to public, Arjun Ram Meghwal explains the news could have been leaked had if the ATMs were calibrated in advance.
