Union Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju responded on the problems faced by Passengers because of the behaviour of Flight Crew, Fellow Passengers and Airlines Staff. 'Flyers should bring issues they faced to the notice of Government. 'Air Seva' App has been released one-and-a-half-ago for receiving complaints on all the Airlines operating in India. Even small issues could be reported to the Aviation Ministry using this App. Whereas, Flyers haven't made good use of it. 10 crore people have been flying in aircrafts per year. Not even 10,000 downloads of 'Air Seva' App happened so far,' he commented.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju maintained there will be issues in any organization and flyers must bring them to the notice of Government instead of approaching media for publicity. 'I don't understand why they approach Media. Mostly Celebrities have been preferring this route. Such problems willn't arise if flyers follow the suggestions made by the Government,' opined the Minister.
When quizzed what about the complaints which came to his notice, Mr.Raju replied: 'What can I do if somebody complains that tea and coffee were served cold in flight?'.
