Australian star cricketer Glenn Maxwell who plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League(IPL) had tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Vini Raman, who has her roots from India. The marriage took place on Saturday and it was a pirate affair.

Melbourne had hosted the wedding which was attended by a limited number of guests. Families and friends of both families attended the wedding and blessed the newlywed. Maxwell and Vini Raman took to social media to share the happy news.

Going by the attire and scenery in the pictures, it looks like the duo had a Christian wedding. In the picture, the couple can be seen kissing each other passionately. Fans are congratulating the couple on the happy occasion and wishing them a happy future ahead.

Maxwell and Raman got engaged earlier last month. On the occasion of their engagement, their wedding card went viral on social media. As Raman belongs to a Tamil family, the wedding card was printed in Tamil.

Vini Raman is a practicing pharmacist in Melbourne. Her parents moved to Australia and settled there. Raman has Australian citizenship. After her education, she had started her career as a pharmacist. Vini and Maxwell met through common friends.

They became friends and started dating each other. After dating for more than two years, they have decided to take their relationship to the next level. Both families agreed to their wedding.

Coming to his professional front, Maxwell will be playing for the RCB and the franchise fans are hoping that the team will win the trophy this time. We have to wait and see what the franchise has to offer to the cricket fans.

Due to his wedding, Maxwell had missed the Pakistan series. As part of the bilateral series, the teams will lock horns for a test series and ODI series. The test series ended up in a draw and the ODI series will start from Monday.

After a long gap, Australia had decided to tour Pakistan. The test series made many former cricketers slam the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over the pitches that were made for the matches.
