Authorities In Guntur Opted To Carry Our Mass Cremation Of Pandemic Corpses!
Guntur which is one of the worst-hit regions in Andhra Pradesh with the virus outbreak once again made it to the headlines with some media reports claiming that the Guntur General Hospital(GGH) saw a flood of corpses that are unclaimed.
With the family members and relatives rushing to the mortuary a tense situation aroused in Guntur. Officials raised several doubts on the virus spread as people gathered in large numbers.
Some media reports claim that following a large number of unclaimed corpses, the concerned authorities deceived to go ahead with the mass cremation of the corpses.
However, this requires a green signal from the Court so that no legal issues arise in this regard. The officials are making the required arrangements to seek a green signal from the court.
If we have anything to take from the media reports, as many as 30 corpses were there at the mortuary which are yet to be claimed. As the facilities are not helping the hospital to hold the corpses, this added another problem to the list.
