Ram temple at Ayodhya have become a hot topic of debate among the TRS circles. A strong section of the party feels that it is not a right strategy to oppose the fund collection as it involves the sentiments of the countless Hindus.
They are of the opinion that Rao's comments could be construed as anti-Hindu. In the past too, even KCR's statements such as âHindu gallu bondu gallu' have backfired in the past. In fact, Bandi Sanjay owes his political career to one such indiscreet statement. At a time when the whole of the country is supporting the construction of the temple at Ayodhya, where was the reason for such indiscreet statement on the part of Rao, they are asking.
Interestingly, several TRS leaders, including some MLAs are in the forefront of collecting funds for Ayodhya. In fact, MLAs like Kranthi Kiran have joined the BJP-VHP led procession for collecting donations. Neither KCR nor KTR have admonished them or asked such leaders to refrain from collecting funds. Such being the case, where is the need for Rao to jump the gun, they ask. As of now, KCR or KTR have not criticized him too.
