A day after CBI conducted raids on NDTV Co-Founder Prannoy Roy, Reports surfaced that Ramdev Baba is holding talks with the National Media House to buy it. Even media reports suggested the talks were in the preliminary stage.
However, Patanjali Spokesperson SK Tijarawala rubbished the reports straight away. 'This is bogus, baseless and unwarranted news that Baba Ramdev in talks to buy NDTV,' he responded.
On Monday, CBI raided four places belonging to NDTV's Prannoy Roy and his wife Radhika Roy in New Delhi and Dehradun by holding them responsible for Rs 48 crore loss incurred by ICICI Bank. NDTV alleged it's nothing but witch-hunt by agencies under Centre's control.
Within hours, Speculations surfaced that NDTV is in talks with few interested parties including Yoga Guru to sell the media house. Quick response from Patanjali has put an end to the rumours.
