MG Gokul, a Bengaluru-based techie, has been arrested by the cops for allegedly making hoax bomb threat calls to Delhi and Bengaluru International Airports on Saturday.
During the interrogation, MG Gokul revealed the conspiracy chalked out by him to marry his friend's wife. He confessed to have killing his wife in July this year by hitting her head with Lord Ganesha idol. Thereafter, He obtained a SIM with the photo and identity proofs of his friend Saju Jose. In an attempt to land his friend in trouble so that he could romance his wife, Gokul made hoax calls to the airports informing bombs were planted inside three flights.
Soon, The Airport Officials have called back two flights and another one which is ready to take off has been taken to a isolated place for thorough checking. Total loss due to the hoax call is anywhere around $1 million.
Initially, Cops interrogated Saju Jose and came to know he have no connection with the hoax calls. Then, they traced Gokul and it eventually helped them solve the murder mystery.
