It is known that Andhra University's vice-chancellor has denied giving permission for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting at University's engineering college grounds on February 16th.
This irritated the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party. They are now blaming that TDP is behind all this and they are the ones who have indirectly sent a message to the AU management not to grant permission to the BJP. However, Andhra University vice-chancellor G. Nageswara Rao is saying an entirely different story. He said that the college management hasn't received any written letter seeking permission for the meeting. Also, the University management has passed a resolution that they won't allow any political meetings to take place when the academic sessions are going on.
On the other hand, BJP leaders are trying their best to get permission so that they can start the arrangements for PM's meet. They are also blaming Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claiming that he has been denying permissions for most of the BJP meetings in the state.
