Finally after sitting in a shell from the last couple of days, Telugudesam president N Chandrababu Naidu has come out today to congratulate people of Telangana. It looks like the TDP president has decided that sitting at home will send more negative signals.
Addressing people, Naidu stated that though we are two states now, Telugu people should always stay united. Also he added that he doesnt want to talk about the politics played by Congress at the moment, as people of Telangana are in a jubilant mode. But, people of Seemandhra are asking Naidu to talk about the politics played by Telugudesam party. At a time when state is getting splitting, Naidu and his MLAs are completely silent and out from media. So, how could Seemandhra people now believe that Telugudesam party will do better for Seemandhra is the question? Also with Naidu claiming that Telangana state is due to the good work done by TDP through letters in 2008, Seemandhra protesters are venting fumes on cycle party. However when asked to clarify about his message to Seemandhra people, Naidu has simply ignored the question, adding, Centre will look after protests in Sedmandhra.
One thing is clear that Naidu has nothing to do now as Congress defended its Telangana decision and he is only waiting for time to lure people of both Andhra and Telangana states again. But how far this tactic will allow him to show face in Seemandhra region where he promised during Paada Yaatra that state will be united.
