Can Srimanthudu Idea Help TRS Win Munugode By-election?

Update: 2022-10-21 06:49 GMT
Films and politics are two big worlds in any part of the world. When it comes to Telugu land we can understand the link and influence one field has on the other one. A few film stars ventured into politics and became the leaders of the state while a few served as legislators.

Things shown in films will also inspire the leaders to follow the ideas. The fine amount for various traffic violations was increased in Telangana after the release of Bharat Ane Nenu and many believe that the Telangana government was inspired by Mahesh Babu's film.

Now the ongoing developments in the state hint that the idea said in Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu is getting applied in the state. The political heat in the state reached a boiling point with the Munugode by-election. The major parties in the state are giving their best in the campaign.

Telangana IT Minister KTR made a big claim and assured that the government would adopt Munugode if TRS candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy wins the by-poll. He made the big statement while seeking public support in the by-election.

What KTR said had sent shocking waves across the state and the opposition parties are asking will the government adopt the region only if it wins the polls. They are also asking what the government would do if the party would do to Munugode if the other party wins the elections.

While the criticism over KTR's comments is not stopping, a few TRS legislators reciprocated the same and said the ruling party would adopt the regions in the pull-bound Assembly constituency.

Minister Malla Reddy reportedly said TRS would adopt Aregudem village in Choutuppal Mandal, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao said Chandur region would be adopted.

This shows the desperate nature of the ruling TRS and they want to use the Village adoption idea pitched by Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu for the upcoming polls. It is going to be interesting to see if the idea works or not. The Munugode by-election is slated to be held on the 3rd of November and we will know soon if the idea works for the ruling party or not.
