Case Filed On Hanumanth Rao For Violating Lockdown Rules

The Saifabad Police have filed a case on Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao for reportedly flouting lockdown curbs and garlanding a statue of BR Ambedkar marking the Ambedkar Jayanti.

The police said that on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanthi, Hanumanth Rao and five others have come to Tank bund and garlanded the statue of Ambedkar despite the cops asking the leader to go back as the lockdown was active.

For breaking the lockdown rules, Hanuamntha Rao and five others were booked under IPC sections188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and269 (whoever willfully or negligently does any act which is likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life).
