Araku MP receives summons from CBI Court

A CBI Court issued summons to Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha and five others who were named as accused in a cheating case. All the six of them were directed to appear before the court on August 19th.

As per CBI Chargesheet, Kothapalli Geeta conspired with Officials of Punjab National Bank to obtain a loan of Rs 25 crore on grounds of investment for a private firm. However, She never repaid the amount and now the dues have gone up to Rs 42 crore. Principal special judge Venkata Ramana took cognizance of the chargesheet against the accused to issue summons.

The other accused in the cheating case are Visweswara Infrastructure Pvt Ltd (VIPL), VIPL MD P Ramakoteswara Rao, Punjab National Bank GM Aravindakshan, Punjab National Bank assistant general manager BK Jayaprakasam and a person with name S Raj Kumar.

Kothapalli Geetha will be in big trouble if all the charges against her were proven. Tough Time!
